Looking for Students Who Make a Difference
Thursday, 14 October 2010 11:07
administrator
We are seeking candidates who volunteer for a good cause or help other kids and members of the community in some way. Mount Vernon Today will also highlight pupils who stand out from their peers, not just academically, but outside of school and at home, performing selfless acts that are out of the ordinary. Along with a photograph, principals and teachers are asked to describe why their student deserves to be the Student of the Month. We will contact the selected candidate and publish their picture along with a few words from the person who provided the submission. Please send inquiries to Desiree Grand, Director of Communications for the Mount Vernon City School District, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
