Buona Sera1 Walking in you feel at home, relaxed and welcomed at Ristorante Buona Sera, located at 546 Gramatan Avenue in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon, it is the only Mount Vernon business to win a “Best of Westchester” award. It was rated a 26 out of 30 in Zagats, the highest rating for a medium price restaurant in Westchester. Buona Sera was nominated by the readers as one of the best restaurants in the County.

Locals savor opening of Windmill Café.

Windmill Eatery Customers wait eagerly outside the Windmill Café in Fleetwood every morning to join friends and enjoy a meal.
Those simple pleasures had been put on hold for a year after the closing of Athena’s Restaurant, which used to occupy the same location at 520 Gramatan Avenue.
But with Windmill now in business at 520 Gramatan Avenue serving popular American and Greek dishes, longtime area residents like Miriam Schlom have happily returned.
